Why does Carmelo want to go on the East Coast?

He still is not going to win a ring because he will have to go through the Big 3 in Miam in the future, Chicago, and Orlando if he signs with the Knicks who suck. Also with things going well in New Orleans a great management Chris Paul might stay there. I think his best bet is waiting 1 or 2 more years from now (by then Lakers players will be kind of old) and then trying to win a ring on the West by attracting another star to join him in Denver.
