Would a kill buyer pay $1000 for a horse in NJ?

Sorry about losing her i know it sucks to lose a horse you love to some uncertain fate. The situation does sound pretty shady but im pretty sure no kill buyer would spend a thousand bucks on a horse, i doubt they would pay over 500 tops. You might want to try some detective work, find out the lady's name, call her, etc bu there's not much you can do unfortunately. But to make you feel better i think that is far to much for a kill buyer. I'm sorry about you losing her.
