Do you think I'm in the clear?

I had unprotected about a week ago and 4 days ago my rectum became really sensitive inside. Also it's slightly painful to p stools. I was worried I may have an STD, particularly . I went to the doctor today and he did a physical examination, but I didn't tell him about the unprotected . He performed a rectal and said everything was normal and that I was just having a bit of irritation due to a change in diet and stools. So, can I ume that I'm okay and that I don't have because he performed a rectal? Please answer and you can get a best answer! :)
